SINGLA PASS TREK : 19/20 days

Treks in the Ganesh Himal region are designed to introduce you to a broad spectrum of life in different Nepalese communities blended with beautiful landscapes, where you can see two lakes- Black and White. Likewise there are two waterfalls Ganga and Jamuna that bring joy to your heart. While, this trekking route is less frequented than Annapurna and Everest area, it still is popular among many trekkers. In March and April the hills and mountains look magnificent reddened with blooming Rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal. Towards the end of this trek you will visit the historic town of Gorkha, the birthplace King Prithivi Naryan Shah, who unified several small states and principalities spread across the land to make modern Nepal. You can visit his historic palace which sits atop a hill overooking the towns, villages, rivers, forests and mountains. Gorkha is also home to the original ‘Gurkha’ Warriors who have earned name and fame for their bravery round the globe. The Ganesh Himal trek begins at Trishuli after a four hours drive from Kathmandu and ends at Gorkha followed by a six hours drive back to Kathmandu.
