Naya Kanga Peak (5844m) – 22 Days

Formerly known as Ganja La Chuli, Naya Kanga (5,844 m) rises to the west of Ganja La, and is a popular but difficult mountain to climb. The normal route to this peak is via the snowy north-east ridge. It is not yet clear who climbed this summit first. The most important reward of climbing Naya Kanga is the spectacular view of mountains in or near Tibet.Langtang region is a popular destination for climbing snow peaks with spectacular panoramic views of mountains in Nepal and Tibet. Easy access to the region and availability of several snow peaks scattered around for acclimatization make this region an ideal destination for novice as well as experienced climbers. Naya Kanga is an attractive peak rising to the west of the Ganja La pass (5,122m/16,800ft). Ascending to Ganja La and the summit of Naya Kanga offer the spectacular panoramic views of mountains in Nepal and Tibet including Langshisa Ri (6,370m/20,894ft), Pemthang-Ri (6,836m/22,422ft), Shisapangma (8,046m/27,749ft), Langtang Lirung (7,425m/24,354ft), Pemthang Kapro-Ri (6,830m/22,402ft) and Langtang II (6,571m/21,553ft). The normal route of ascent to Naya Kanga is via the north - East Ridge over a line on ice and snow.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to transfer hotel 1350 and welcome dinner.
Day 02: Full day sightseeing around Kathmandu valley
Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Syabru besi(1460m)
Day 04: Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel (2410m)
Day 05: Lama Hotel to Langtang (3339m)
Day 06: Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa 3800m.
Day 07: Acclimatization
Day 08: Kyanjin Gompa to Naya Kanga Base camp 4400m.
Day 09: Base Camp to High camp 5000m.
Day 10: Base Camp to Summit Naya Kanga 5844m.and back to Base camp
Day 11: Base camp to Kyanjin Gompa - Langtang village
Day 12: Langtang to Lama Hotel (2410m)
Day 13: Lama Hotel to Thulo Sybru (2210m)
Day 14: Thulo Sybru to Sing Gompa (3584m)
Day 15: Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda (4381m)
Day 16: Gosainkunda to Ghopte (3440) via 4600m pass
Day 17: Ghopte to Mangegot (3285) - Ghopte
Day 18: Ghopte to Kutumsang (2470m)
Day 19: Kutumsang to Chisopani (2215m)
Day 20: Chisopani to Sundarijal (1460m) & drive to KTM/Hotel
Day 21: Free day in Kathmandu
Day 22: Departure.
